What in the world is e-MAG and e-GAL? "e-MAG" stands for 'Electronic-Men's Accountability Group. "e-GALS" stands for 'Electronic-Gals Accountability. We would have named the women's group "Electronic-Gals-Accountability Group, but the abbreviation would have been 'e-GAGS, and that sounds like a bunch of electronic jokes. Ha Ha. We are a group of men and women who are being discipled by our pastor and by using a new tool for achiving accountability, e-MAIL . We meet face to face with our pastor on a regular basis, but now, thanks to the Internet, we are able to remain accountable through out each month by e-Mail as well.  We have agreed to the disciplines of daily Bible reading, praying with our spouses, praying alone, praying for the other group members, praying for each and every member of the church by name, reading the book 'The Spirit of the Disciplines by Dallas Willard", excercising, and setting personal goals and working on achiving them. There are precise instructions on how to achieve these disciplines, for we know that left to our own devices we tend to fall short of what God wants for us in the transformation of becoming more like His Son.
